Echinacea paradoxa var paradoxa
A very different Echinacea with bright yellow flowers. In its native habitat this plant typically grows in bare rocky soils. The slightly fragrant flowers feature petals are held like a skirt around the central disc. Slow to flower in the first year, but prolific after that. Charming when combined with Ratibida.
