Beschorneria yuccoides - False Red Agave

Beschorneria yuccoides has become a very popular plant in recent years and rightly so. A beautiful specimen plant with grey green leaves that forms a clumping rosette up to 1m tall. In Summer the Beschorneria shoots up a spectacular red flower stem with pendulous red-green bells. Very frost and dry hardy and worthy of a place in every garden. Received the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
